Balance Optimisation Programme delivers variable returns on safeguarded USD balances for global payment businesses
Singapore, 15th May 2026 — Clearing, the regulated global payment infrastructure provider, collaborated closely on a programme for which Deutsche Bank has been named Best Liquidity and Investments Solution at The Asset Triple A Treasurise Awards 2026. The recognition acknowledges the Balance Optimisation Programme — a programme delivering variable returns on safeguarded USD balances for global payment businesses.
The Balance Optimisation Programme was developed to address a structural inefficiency facing businesses that operate at scale: significant USD balances held in safeguarded accounts generating no return. The programme enables eligible Clearing clients to access a variable return structure while maintaining full liquidity and the integrity of their safeguarded funds.
The Asset Triple A Treasurise Awards are widely regarded as a benchmark for excellence in corporate treasury across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East, recognising banks and service providers for best-in-class solutions.
“Our close collaboration with Clearing delivered significant mutual benefit and built a robust foundation, fostering greater familiarity with each other’s processes and risk policies, and thus enabling broader future partnerships.”
— Kriti Jain, Head of Digital Economy, Fintech and Platform (Corporate Coverage APAC and Cash Sales APAC, MEA), Deutsche Bank
“By working so effectively with the Deutsche Bank team, we’ve built a market-leading solution that clearly stands out to the industry. This recognition reflects the hard work and technical expertise of everyone involved — and validates the direction we’re taking as a business.”
— Brian Rayment, CEO, Clearing
The Balance Optimisation Programme provides eligible Clearing clients with access to variable returns on safeguarded USD balances held via Deutsche Bank Singapore. The structure is fully liquid, allowing clients to maintain normal operations without restriction.
This is not a deposit product and no fixed or guaranteed returns are payable. Returns are discretionary and depend on returns received by Clearing from Deutsche Bank.
Clearing is a regulated global payment infrastructure provider, offering multi-currency accounts, cross-border payments, FX and digital asset settlement. Clearing operates across the UK (FCA authorised), Singapore (MAS licensed) and Canada (FINTRAC registered), serving businesses that move money at scale across borders and currencies.
The Asset Triple A Treasurise Awards are prestigious annual awards recognising excellence in corporate treasury across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. They serve as a benchmark for excellence in the banking community, acknowledging banks and service providers for best-in-class solutions.
